Austin Givens

Owner & Head Coach

A former football and track and field athlete, Austin didn’t open Spade Athletics to run a gym. He opened it because he knew what St. Clair County was missing.

After working with college football players at The Sport and Speed Institute, Austin made the leap to build something that reflected how he believed training should work: individualized, relationship-driven, results-focused. Not another facility churring through group sessions. Not another place treating your athlete like a number.

With over 100 college placements, multiple state championships coached, and years studying what actually makes athletes explosive, Austin brings expertise and personal investment you won't find elsewhere. His name is on the building. His reputation is on the line. He knows what it’s like to have your athletic development stall.

Every program is designed to work. Every athlete is coached like they matter. Every parent gets the transparency they deserve. When you train at Spade, you're getting someone who's built their entire business on proving that doing it right always beats doing it cheap.
