BRANDT GOINGS

Strength Coach

Brandt’s journey with Spade Athletics started long before he ever stepped into the role of coach. Growing up in Trenton, Illinois, he competed in football and baseball for Wesclin High School—and he was among the very first athletes Austin ever trained in the Metro-East. He knows the Spade process not from a manual, but from experience: the evening sessions, the grind of in-season maintenance, the off-season rebuilding, and the steady climb toward real, measurable progress.

After college, Brandt continued sharpening his craft as a competitive powerlifter, deepening his understanding of strength development and mastering the mechanics of safe, powerful lifting. Now, as Spade Athletics’ strength coach, he brings that expertise to the weight room—challenging athletes, coaching precise technique, and teaching them how to build strength that actually translates to sport.

With a strong background in nutrition and supplementation, Brandt also guides athletes in developing healthy fueling habits so their hard work pays off where it matters: on the field, the court, or the track.

Having lived the athlete experience himself and felt the impact of Spade’s training firsthand, Brandt is passionate about giving back to the next generation. He’s committed to helping young athletes build strength, confidence, and the long-term durability they need to chase their goals with purpose.
